Week of October 7th 2018
I had time to sit and do a reading for the week before things get crazy, and man, I'm glad I did because I needed the hidden reminder the cards are trying to tell me and I hope you will too.
One thing that I noticed right away was the conflict that some of us have gotten into, this doesn't have to be with a significant other, but it shows that two or more people are not communicating well and this is causing anger, tension, and serious conversations. These conversations ultimately lead to feeling defeated and a sense of "I just don't want to deal with it anymore." Which can lead to an outcome we weren't really prepared for.
Looking at the six of cups (top right), I hear "remember why". Remember why you are fighting, remember why you are in the relationship in the first place, what brought you here? Thinking back to the reasons we started the journey in the first place will flood us with memories and hopefully hit us in the face with the truth about our actions.
There could also be a moment where we have some serious doubt and neglect our needs, whether these are physical or mental, they each need their own attention. Feeling defeated in our creativity, maybe in the work place, proves to be a lot for some and we may find ourselves walking away. The world (top left), is there to remind us that, yes it might seem like it's one fail after the other, but why not take a look at all the things you have accomplished this far?
Nothing can happen over night, (I mean sure it might, but lets be real)it takes a lot of hard work and persistence to get things back up going again, especially when we find we burnt ourselves out and are just over dealing with everything. Maybe this conflict finds you wanting to walk away, but why should you? The Universe works for us, not the other way around, if we believe we don't deserve something, than we are not going to have it, but if we put in the work and demand to have it, the Universe, God, or whatever you believe, sees your efforts and makes it happen.
You deserve all the good things that life has to offer, and even though it can be easy to get caught up in the hate, guilt, and loneliness, we need to remember our accomplishments and why we are even fighting for them. Why can't it be just as easy to shout about all of your success?
I challenge you to shout out what makes you feel good, what is your proudest moment?
Have a fantastic week!
